Week 10: Laughing

Proverbs 31:25
“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.”

As a teenager, I’m starting to realize my own values, whether they are spiritual, political, or simply about life. That’s one of the big reasons I started this blog, so that I would be able to express how I feel right now and be able to look back when I’m old and smelly and reflect on life and such. At the moment laughter is one the most important components of life to me. It can turn strangers into friends, fights into hugs, and crying into smiles. I know, I know, very idealistic, and to some extent unrealistic. While I know that laughter isn’t going to lead to world peace, it definitely brightens people’s days. And you know the funniest thing about laughter, I have noticed that if I can get people to laugh, it makes ME happier, isn’t that crazy?? Laughter is the only good thing that is contagious, and it makes life so much better. Because even though you are never fully dressed without a smile, your look isn’t complete without a laugh.

It’s crazy to me that God would give us such an amazing gift like laughter that is so easily shared. It’s truly beautiful that with everything in life we are given such an ability.

Thanks so much for reading! I wanted to let everyone know that I will be back every week from now on! I pray that you have a great week and you utilize your gift of laughter:)! Have a rocking week!
